Privacy Policy
How KNC Properties collects, uses and protects your information. Effective September 23, 2026.
KNC Properties ("KNC," "we," "us") operates kncproperties.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, how you would like to be contacted and a message about what you need. When you call us, we may keep a record of your call and what you asked about. You choose what to share; the form only requires a name and a phone number.
Information collected by the home search
Property listings and the home search on this site are provided by IDX Broker (Elm Street Technology) using data from MetroList. If you save a search, save a favorite or create an account, that information is collected and stored by IDX Broker on our behalf and is shared with us so that a KNC agent can help you. IDX Broker’s own privacy policy also applies to those pages.
Information collected automatically
- Text size preference. If you choose the larger text size, we save that choice in your browser so it is remembered on your next visit. Nothing about this leaves your device.
- Maps and fonts. This site loads a Google Map of our office and fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when those load. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
- How you found us. When you arrive from an ad or another website, we save the campaign information in the link (for example "utm_source=chatgpt"), the referring site and the first page you visited in your browser for up to 90 days, along with a random visitor ID. If you later contact us, this is included with your request so we know which of our advertising is working.
- Home search activity. We record the home searches you run, the listings you view and the searches or homes you save on this site and its home search pages, tied to that random visitor ID. It is not connected to your name unless you fill out a form or create a home search account; after that, it is added to your record in our customer database so your agent can send you better-matched homes.
We keep this information in our own customer database (hosted by Supabase) and use it only to help you and to measure our own marketing. We do not sell it or share it with other companies for their advertising. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record your search activity. How we use your information
- To answer your question and help you buy, sell, rent or value a property.
- To contact you by phone, text message or email about your request, in the way you told us you prefer.
- To send you listings or market information you asked for.
- To keep records required by California real estate law and our brokerage obligations.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and ask to be contacted by text, we may text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop at any time by replying STOP, or by telling any KNC agent. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With the KNC agent working with you.
- With service providers that help us run this site and our business (for example, IDX Broker for the home search, our website host and our customer-contact software), who may use it only to provide those services.
- With our mortgage partner, Ken Clark Jr. at Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, only if you ask us about financing or a pre-approval. KNC Properties and PRMG are independent companies and you are always free to choose any lender.
- With escrow, title, inspection and other parties needed to complete a transaction you have asked us to handle.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of KNC, our clients or others.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of marketing messages. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law. No website or transmission is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial details through the contact form; call us instead.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
